Homogenization Pumps

Homogenization is the process of blending related substances to produce a mixture that is uniform throughout. The process reduces the particle size of one component and disperses them evenly throughout the mixture, and it creates emulsion (liquid in liquid suspension) and/or dispersions (solid in liquid suspension).

High-pressure homogenization units using our pumps drastically improve product quality and reduce production time, cutting overall production costs. High-pressure homogenization does a more consistent job in less time than conventional mechanical or ultrasonic mixers. To increase fluid velocity, the pump forces liquid through a narrow orifice. After velocity is increased, the liquid hits an impact surface causing severe turbulence, implosion, impingement, cavitation and shear forces for optimal emulsion and/or dispersion.
